Joe Rubinstein is a legendary comic book artist and inker whose career has helped define some of the most recognizable characters and publications in the industry. Born in Wrocław, Poland, Rubinstein moved to the United States with his family and began his professional comic career as a teenager. His early education in inking came through working with legendary creators Neal Adams and Dick Giordano. Rubinstein is perhaps best known for his extensive work on The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and the acclaimed 1982 Wolverine limited series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. His career has also included numerous projects for both Marvel and DC Comics, including Batman, Green Arrow and Black Canary, Justice League International, and Jack of Fables.
