Sam de la Rosa is a legendary comic book inker, penciler, and cover artist who has worked for Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, and Disney since 1982. He is most famous for his work on the Venom: Lethal Protector and Maximum Carnage comic series, which served as the primary basis for the Venom film franchise.
